We primarily use 100% organic cotton, handloom, and natural fiber blends, depending on the collection. All fabrics are breathable, gentle on skin, biodegradable, and ethically sourced.

Our colours come from pure plant-based sources — leaves, flowers, bark, roots, seeds, fruit skins, vegetable peels and natural minerals. Each shade is created through slow dyeing rituals rooted in traditional methods.

Absolutely. Natural dyes are free from toxic chemicals, synthetic fixers, and irritants. They are skin-friendly, breathable, and suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Natural dyes may release a slight tint in the first few washes — this is completely normal. They soften beautifully over time, ageing gracefully while retaining their richness. Each garment still maintains long-lasting wearability when cared for correctly.

Wherever the design allows, we add pockets. Comfort and functionality are essential values at Jforrest. If a garment cannot accommodate pockets, we provide a complimentary sling pocket.

Yes. We use eco-conscious packaging materials: fabric bags, recyclable tags and minimal pastic. 

Most pieces are lightly pre-washed to soften the fabric and stabilise colour, but care instructions should still be followed for longevity.
